Shelter
A small flock of sheep climb steadily over scrub and rock toward a looming outcrop of ancient boulders. Dark against the horizon, the shelter ahead is their refuge from the weather gathering at their backs. Inspired by a walk along the Anglesey coast from Rhoscolyn to Trearddur Bay, this painting explores the quiet drama of light and shadow, and the instinctive pull toward safety in a rugged landscape.
